You would most likely find Dale enjoying the Okanagan Lake in the summer, the hills at Big White in the winter, and relaxing with his family and his dogs Olive and Capone.
Matthew Williams

Matt was born and raised in Taber, Alberta, a small farming community east of Lethbridge. He grew up playing all types of sports, including football, soccer, baseball, and basketball. After high school, he went on to play football in Calgary for the Colts in the Canadian Junior Football League. Following that year, he served as a missionary for his Church in Queensland, Australia for two years. Upon his return, he moved to Edmonton to continue his studies, enrolling in the Bachelor of Commerce program at Grant MacEwan and then onto the University of Alberta, where he played Golden Bears Football for three seasons. Matt was awarded an Academic All-Canadian Award and graduated with Distinction in 2007 with a Bachelor of Commerce, Finance Major.
While in Edmonton, he met his wife, Laura. Together they have four children, Malee, Lucas, Oscar and Phoebe. After graduating, they moved to Taber, and Matt started as a Financial Advisor. In 2013 Matt attained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNING (CFP©) designation from the Financial Planning Standards Council, of which he achieved the 3rd highest grade in the country!
In 2019 Matt and his family made a huge leap to relocate to Kelowna and joined the team at DKL Financial. The William's are enjoying being in the Okanagan Valley and are happily involved in the local community. Matt is involved in the local Kelowna Minor Football Association, has coached his son’s team to the league championship this past season and is now on the Board of Kelowna Minor Football Association as the Director of Tackle. In his free time, he enjoys coaching, skiing, hiking, hunting, and mountain and dirt biking.

Christian has grown up in Kelowna, which has given him a passion for everything outdoors. He is currently working towards his Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a specialization in finance at Okanagan College. Through his post-secondary education journey, he has been given the unique opportunity to volunteer through Enactus Canada, where he managed a small non-profit business in the Okanagan. After he achieves his degree, he plans on completing the Certified Financial Planners designation (CFP) and continuing a career in the financial industry.
Christian is excited to be in the DKL Financial Group office and working closely with the team as he learns all aspects of the firm's operations.

Ron joined the DKL Financial Group as an Associate Financial Advisor in November 2022. Prior to DKL Financial, Ron amassed over 20 years in the investment industry, including senior roles as a Regional VP and Managing Director for two top tier investment management firms. Most recently, Ron served as an Investment Advisor at a full-service investment brokerage firm.
Ron employs an all-encompassing approach to wealth planning and advice by working with clients to create success for their investment, insurance, and estate portfolios today; and into the future. Ron has achieved his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Certified Investment Manager (CIM®) designations to provide the highest level of service to clients in helping them achieve financial success.
David Michaud

David is actively involved in the hockey world and currently serves as the team president of the BCHL’s Alberni Valley Bulldogs. David also spent several years with CAA Sports in their hockey division. Prior to his time with the Bulldogs, David was in Penticton with the Vees and was at the helm of the Okanagan Rockets major midget team that won a BC Major Midget Championship and a bronze medal at the National Championships.
David oversees the firm's marketing initiatives and other business development activities as well as being a key contact for the firm’s professional athlete clients.
Ron proudly calls Kelowna home with his two children, his partner Shannon, and her two daughters. Ron’s community involvement has included coaching Kelowna Minor Hockey and Okanagan Mission Youth Soccer and when not in the office can be found in the pool or lake and hiking, biking, and snowshoeing the extensive trail network the Okanagan has to offer with friends and family.
